The Ritz Cinemas was built in 1937 and is steeped in rich history and tradition.
It is a family owned business who want to transform the way people view cinema and these upgrades have certainly achieved and enhanced this.
THE DIFFERENCES:
- Construction of the 2 new auditoriums stacked one on top of the other and adjoining the original building
- Complicated structural remedial works within existing building to enhance the limited space
- Major services upgrades and interim fire strategies implemented for the duration of the works within the live environment.
- The cinemas remained operational throughout
