Structure was the selected partner on the first of the Habilis developments as they bring honest and trustworthy buildability solutions to what is a very tight and difficult site
Habilis housing is a registered charity that was setup with the model of providing supported housing and medical care for people living with schizophrenia. The development aims to build clusters of individual units
within a protective perimeter, with an office for staff during the day to coordinate rehabilitative programs, a clinic and common areas to create a sense of community. Habilis also provides onsite mental health care, to
greatly improve outcomes for residents.
The Summer Hill project has 22 self contained apartments and involved the reuse of portions of the existing buildings on site and the integration of new buildings to create the one contained site. There was extensive remediation and in ground works along with service infrastructure upgrades in readiness for the refurbishment and new build leading into fitout.
