One of the older sections of the school and the last place teachers wanted to be, under an existing building with very little natural light.
To give this space an amazing learning atmosphere for teachers and students we needed more naturally light filled rooms. This was done by using a lot of different bright colours and glass strategically placed to get that light within the middle of the classrooms while still using the space efficiently.
THE DIFFERENCES:
- Advanced engineered screed system that was mixed onsite within a specialised truck and pumped internally up to 100m
- The works were required to be completed within the same building during the HSC exams, so focused sound proofing procedures ensured no disruption to one of the most important exams of these students
- Detailed Traffic Management and site access to minimise any disruptions to school operations
